The Huntress – SDOF, Bokeh and progressive Corsetry by Puimond
As some of you may know I have recently relocated to Bedfordshire, so being new to the area and wanting to get my creative fix I naturally got in contact with a few local photographers.
Stephen J was one of the first photographers I reached out to after spotting his photos which boasted consistently good quality and creative flare.
So we booked a shoot with the plans of doing a little bit of gypsy boho and portrait in a natural location. As shoot day drew closer, I kept thinking his style would suit an idea I had been sitting on for over a year. So, on the day I had my boho dresses packed, and a little something extra 😉
Stephen loved the idea when I presented it!
We drove to this lovely little location I had spotted and had a quick wonder about before settling on the spot we thought would be ideal for our photos. Let me tell you, we struggled a bit as the sun was playing hide and seek so we had to wait around for the clouds to offer us some softer light and when the wind blew I nearly toppled over LOL!
We shot 5 different outfits, starting with my Huntress theme, sporting my lovely ox blood leather corset by Puimond ( a firm favourite of mine for progressive corsetry that highlights my hourglass figure ) a lovely little faux fur stole and final pièce de résistance – the gorgeous pheasant wing headdress. I especially Loved how the colours of this cornfield with the backdrop of trees so finely complemented the theme, it couldn’t have turned out better.
After the first outfit we shot something more relaxed shooting gypsy boho fashions and portrait in the nearby woods before returning to the lovely cornfield once the sun had settled a bit.
I think Stephen’s new nick name for me is “wellies” because if you look real closely, you can spot I am wearing wellie boots during this shoot :p
I really hope you enjoy these new photos which can be found in the Stephen J gallery as well as in the corsetry gallery, fashion gallery and portrait gallery.
Below is a few words by Stephen himself with a lovely reference for me.
“Had my first shoot with Lucifera and what a fun shoot it was, Thank you for providing such a wonderful head piece. We shot locally using a corn field that Lucifera had suggested. Lucifera has a great personality and is fun to shoot, along with a wonderful wardrobe what more could you ask for. Yeas I would recommend her and look forward to our next shoot”
