Pre Raphaelite meets Bollywood in Spring Blossom
I arranged this shoot with Romi back in the spring when the blossom was out in full force. Every year I aim to add a few flowers to my portfolio and as I kept missing the cherry blossom I really pursued it this year.
I really admired Romi’s ethereal style so was delighted when he expressed an interest in shooting with me. We planned to shoot with rich colours in Richmond park because most of his previous photos had light colours.
He booked a lovely make up artist who specialises in Bollywood and Indian bridal so this style of make up was a little different to what I was used to, but I loved it.
We shot about 4 outfits starting off with something casual and flares before then doing some with the red kimono and my hair up ( feature photo ). I just adore this photo and the hairstyle, I’d definitely love to have my hair done this way more often.
The next shot was in the long red velvet dress while Jane ( the make up artist ) shook the blossom tree to get this gorgeous photo with the blossom falling. Sadly by this point our lovely weather had taken a real turn ( a constant curse for on location photography ) so we quickly shot the last set with the red feather hat before calling it quits.
Although I only have 3 photos from this shoot to share with you I feel their all amazing and hope you enjoy them a lot.
